Charleen Clarke is a passionate petrol-head who found her way into motoring journalism back in 1984. Now a car-crazy authority, she is president of the SA Guild of Motoring Journalists, editor of the leading local trucking mag, Focus on Transport, and was an M-Net SuperSport presenter on TopCar. Charleen is the convenor the WOW Women’s Car of the Year Awards judging panel. |

Heléne Griffiths is the founding owner and editor of the country’s first good-news newspaper, the Umhlanga Globe. Her 30-year motoring career includes stints as a rally driver, motorsport announcer and prolific motoring writer. She also runs motoring courses for women and has been a jury member for the SA Guild of Motoring Journalists’ SA Car of the Year competition for 21 years. |

Fenly Foxen was the main anchor and youngest team member of TV’s Car Torque. Her journalistic journey started at the SABC-run radio station, Channel Africa, and then moved on to newsreading for SAfm and 5fm. This led to her big break in 2003 – becoming a writer/producer for the seveno’clock
bulletin at SABC TVNews. Currently, she works at CNBC Africa as a news and current affairs anchor.

Peta Lee has been hooked on cars and motoring since co-editing Car Owner in the Eighties. She’s a many-time winner of the Offroad Pressman of the Year Award, and has written countless words on cars and driving for a range of South African publications, including Drive, Car, Wiel, Topcar, Chequered Flag, Fairlady and Women On Wheels.
