1. Why is Nedbank launching a new reward program?
We decided to launch Nedbank Greenbacks after our customers told us that they wanted a greater choice of reward partners across a number of different categories. Greenbacks offers rewards from flights, travel and shopping to charities and banking products. We are confident that Nedbank Greenbacks will deliver better value to all of our customers.

2. How much do I need to spend to earn one Nedbank Greenback?
You will earn one Nedbank Greenback for every R5.00 of eligible spend on your card(s). Eligible spend excludes cash transactions, finance charges and certain other transactions. Please see the Terms & Conditions for further details.

3. When will I start earning Nedbank Greenbacks?
You will start earning Nedbank Greenbacks on all your eligible card spend from the 1st September 2005.

4. When can I start spending my Nedbank Greenbacks?
You can start spending your Nedbank Greenbacks from the 1st October 2005.

5. How can I redeem my Nedbank Greenbacks for a reward?
Redemption is simple! Redeem online, call 011 710 4710 or fax your redemption request to 0861 102 050.

6. How much does it cost to join the programme?
It costs R160 per annum to maintain your Nedbank Greenbacks account. You can link up to 10 credit or cheque cards to your Greenbacks’ account for no additional fee.

7. Do my Nedbank Greenbacks expire?
No, your Nedbank Greenbacks do not expire provided that you continue to spend on your card and pay your card account on time. Your Greenbacks will expire if you do not spend on your card for a period of five-months, if your account is in arrears for 3-months or if you cancel your card or your subscription to Nedbank Greenbacks. 8. Can I purchase additional Greenbacks if I want to top-up my account?
Yes, you can top up your account with additional Nedbank Greenbacks at a cost of 7,5c (incl VAT) per Greenback. Please note that a minimum of 1,000 Greenbacks (R75) must be purchased at a time. Please call 011 710 4710 to top-up your Nedbank Greenbacks’ account.

9. Can I transfer my Greenbacks to another Greenbacks’ account?
Yes, you can transfer your Nedbank Greenbacks to another Greenbacks account for a fee of R150 per transfer. Please call 011 710 4710 to top-up your account. Terms and conditions apply.

10. When will I receive further communications on the programme?
You will receive a brochure in the post shortly detailing the programme in full.
