  • Handling cash? Make it Safe as possible.

At Nedbank we take every precaution to make sure you enjoy a safe, secure banking experience. For this reason we've compiled a few simple tips that will help ensure your safety:
    • Rather than drawing large amounts of cash to pay accounts, enjoy the secure convenience of electronic channels, such as internet or telephone banking.
    • Use your debit or credit card when making payments or purchases, and eliminate the risk of carrying cash.
    • Keep your eyes open for any suspicious characters in or around the entrance to branches.
    • Don't draw more than you require and keep withdrawals as small as possible.
    • Vary the days and times of your bank visits as well as the route you take to the branch.
    • When paying wages, make arrangements for a specialist cash transport company to deposit the cash to your office, rather than drawing it yourself.
    • Deposit large sums of cash at your branch rather than at an ATM.
