How you can safeguard yourself and prevent fraud!
  • Sign your card as soon as you receive it.
  • Ensure that your credit card is kept in a safe place. Never leave it lying around or in your vehicle.
  • Always ensure that you get your card back after you have made a purchase. If you realise your card has been lost or stolen/swapped, report it immediately to 0800 110 929.
  • Check your monthly statements against your credit card receipts.
  • If you throw away credit card receipts, destroy them before doing so.
  • Never write down your PIN or disclose it to anybody.
  • Your credit card is only to be used by yourself and not by third parties.
  • Don't supply your credit card number over the phone, unless you initiated the call.
  • When you use your credit card on the internet, make sure you are using a secure web-site.
